Electric circuits
0:000:00
When we connect different electrical component in a loop, we get an electric circuit.
There should be a power source like a battery, wires to connect them, and an appliance like the light bulb to complete a circuit. A switch can be added to control the bulb being on or off.

Open vs Closed circuit
Open circuit
- Switch is "off"
- Circuit is not complete
- Bulb will not light up.
Closed circuit
- Switch is "on"
- Circuit is complete
- Bulb will light up.
